Family Tree
At MyDNAOrigins we will discuss both Genealogy and Genetic Genealogy. We will also discuss how to begin building a family tree, how to create a private family site or even create a family website, how to research your family tree and when you can't go any further what you can do to possibly break through that barrier. Most importantly how much of your research can be accomplished at NO COST.Through the years, I began my family tree at seven years old, I discovered so many ways to research. Now in the computer age it is much easier but I still use some of my old methods and tactics.Through the years I have been asked to find lost relatives, help adopted children find information about their families or to help them find siblings, if any exist. In one case I was a woman's last hope. Having searched for years and having spent a great deal of money searching for two brothers she was separated from at a very young age a friend of hers and genealogist in Pennsylvania suggested that she call me. Her surname was Smith. At first I was thought this is going to be extremely difficult, but I used an old tactic and within three days found her two brothers who were also separated.Our "Introduction to Genealogy and Genetic Genealogy" is just that. It is my opportunity to share what can be done and gives you the choice of how and where you would like to start. You are not obligated to join anything. This is a one time presentation. Today we have some extraordinary tools. I know my presentation to you will be of great interest and you will learn more from my presentation than you would by using any other method.You will have an opportunity to ask questions. There is no set script. I will discuss more thoroughly those areas you, the group, seem most interested.At the end of my presentation I will be happy to discuss any of the services we provide should you be interested.Please read the section on "Group Presentations".
