Are you ready to find out who you are. When Family Tree DNA came out with their first DNA 12 marker test, the Y-DNA test, I immediately joined. Looked up my surname and joined my surname group.
At the same time a test was available to test my mothers female line, the mtDNA test, which would be me to my mother to her mother etc. into the past. It turned out that my mother's haplogroup [ like a female clan] was the second oldest. It has been an exciting journey into the past. Finally I took the Family Finder test because I was curious about all the other ancestors who contributed to my DNA and their origins. The place where they originally came from. |
